Danny was not only a musician and a very funny man, He was a committed socialist who always lived up to his principles and many people have cause to be grateful for his kindness, myself included. He was wonderful with children, singing to them and doing magic tricks, my own children were always delighted when Danny turned up to spend a few days with my family.
